So here is the latest group of fat pictures. haha. She is starting to really pop out making it very difficult to bend over. Let's just say, I have never grunted this much for every day activities in my life. People just think I am extra enthusiastic. Its pretty funny. She is moving around a lot especially up into my ribs. She likes to snuggle I guess. The Dr. says she is right on track, size-wise, which is comforting and I am feeling great. Muscles are getting a bit tight but its to be expected with only 5 weeks left. My next appt. is on my birthday, this Thursday so we'll get a positive update for a present. She will be the greatest late b-day present ever, we are so excited. The chocolate balls you see, are my first attempt at cake balls. They turned out pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I was able to send some Christmas goodies out to people and I loved every minute of the prep. Enjoy ya'all. Thanks for all your support and love, it means a lot. Oh, and the shower invites should be coming out soon so keep your eyes peeled and have the Merriest of Christmases. Love you all!!!!!

Its a Bumpy Ride
So here are the latest baby bump pictures. These are me at 7 1/2 months or, for those of you who go by weeks, 30 weeks. She has come along slow but trust me, she is way out there now. I know I just look fat but that is how my belly is coming along unfortunately and I am just unsure what to do with my hands.... (hahaha what movie) Anway, the picture in the gray shirt shows me eating some cereal I sware, I'm not pouting. haha. Also, that is not her pushing on my belly, its my phone in my front pocket. It does look a little weird but, no matter how ugly my body is, I know Skye is going to beautiful so it is worth it. Thanks for all your requests for pictures because it lets me know you care. Nick and I are getting so excited and she is starting to kick way hard. The awesome part is that whenever Nick touches my belly, even if she has been still all day, she will kick for him. It is so cute to hear him talk to her too. She loves her daddy already and according to Wes, she is a soccer player. I am still feeling awesome besides my current cold but at least I'm getting it out of the way before Christmas. Happy holiday shopping to all and I will try and keep you more updated b/c I know this last trimester will just be full of growth. Love you all.

Mr. and Mrs. Fanthorpe
The Chicago trip was amazing. Erin and Nick stole the show and were the best hosts ever. We were always on the go and everything went so smoothly. When we got there into the airport, there was a fowl smell in the air. Stinky Midway! We saw a rat run across the parking lot where we were eating our yummy icecream which was questionable after that. hahaha. Then we headed out to Naperville where we stayed 2 days. We had the real deal, stuffed crust deep dish pizza which was cheese enough for a week but dang it was good. Took the train to downtown which really is the windy city. It was very cold and rainy but we made it to magnificent mile where we shopped till we dropped. Once we got back, it was wedding stuff from there, rehearsals, breakfasts, and getting all dolled up. My dress wasn't very flattering but I'm definitely getting that baby bump. It was so cute, Kayla and Wes kept rubbing my belly whenever we saw each other. They are going to be great cousins that's for sure. The family was all back together since I can't remember when, and it was so great except that Nick couldn't be there :( His dang work is so dumb with days off so he had to sit this one out. The Witte clan was almost complete and it was such a reality check to see how far we have all come. The day of the wedding was great especially because the sun was out. Despite it being freezing, the warmth of Nick and Erin's love made it totally bareable. They both looked great and so did everyone else. Nick's family put on a great show and were some of the coolest in-laws I've ever met besides mine of course ;) So sweet and caring and fun. I'm so happy for Erin and glad I could go all the way to Chicago for her special day. 4 down, one to go....Tasha

There is a gurl in theee castle...
So yesterday was the big day when we found out we're having a baby girl. We were anticipating it so much. We loved the ultrasound experience. Seeing the cute little boney fingers and the spine was so amazing. It made it so real to see our little creation. She was moving around a bunch; crossing her legs, and she we got to see a perfect profile of my nose and Nick's toes. She is cute already if I do say so myself. haha. It was so awesome to look over at Nick and see the big ole grin on his face. He's gonna be a great daddy for sure. We are still working out the names so we'll keep everyone updated. After the ultrasound, we were gonna celebrate with Mark and Bec's for another first. I made homemade pizza for the first time and it was pretty dang good, although Claire said it tasted like a hot-mouth. haha Reese was in top form with her cute baby blues and homey the clown hair-do. Thanks Bec! ;) It was a blast to get advise on what girls are like from the pros. So, to the request of everybody, here are the pics everyone wants to see. I'm about 19 weeks now so almost 5 months and feeling great. I'll try and take pics every week to show the progress b/c I know its all belly up from here. Happy September everybody!

Uncharted visit with Josh & Krista
Josh and Krista came up this past weekend or should I say sped up (hahaha, josh) here to idaho. I think they are good luck because it was some of the best weather up here all summer. We had so much fun at the pool, throwing the girls around, getting some color on our still white skin, and there was a swimming the length of the pool competition. I got it on the first try, not to brag or anything but really. Friday to Sunday was filled with PS3, great meals every night thanks to Pizza Hut, Brett and Jo, and Mark and Bec with the carne asada. So good. The girls were such a handfull of fun and it was great to see Nick, Josh, and Rebecca interact. It made me miss my siblings real bad. The best part of the whole weekend was the exercise ball bouncing and balancing. Nick dominated besdies a whole lot of hole-in-the-wall scares. A lot of laughs for sure. It was relaxing to hang out with another fun couple and just chill out as you can see in the pictures. The picture of Nick and Josh holding hands was their "brother handshake" slash scout hold. Wow, is all I had to say but then Bec jumped on top and completed the family handshake. This was one of the best weekends of the summer, thanks Josh and Krista and Mark and Bec. Hope we can get together a lot more.

Great news!!!
So here's the good news I've been waiting to write about. Nick and I are finally expecting and we are so excited. We are 11 weeks along so still in the beginning but we were able to hear the heartbeat on Friday July 16th. All is good and normal and we are stoked. We found out right before Father's Day and went to Doug and Brie's to tell them so we could tell someone in person. It went great. We played a game of BS and as we were going through the numbers, Nick said 2 3's and I said 1 baby and put down my card. Doug said BS not realizing what I just said and Brie had to tell him. He was like "no way" and they were way excited and hugs all around. It was so great to have a physical celebration instead of just through-the-phone which were great after talking to everyone but not the same. Skype was quite good with Craig and Lissa for sure. They totally knew though. They are just too good. So we are so happy right now and can't wait to add to our family.
Mix Master Nick
So, its been way too long, I know, but I was waiting till something worth writing about came along. The beginning of June was Josh's wedding (Nick's little bro) and it was a ton of fun to be in SoCal again. It treated us right and we had a ton of fun. Got to see a ton of friends and the wedding was great. The best part was the music, compliments of Nick. He got the title of DJ and figure out some not-to-cooperative DJ equipment. He looked good behind the table that's for sure and it was fun to help out for Josh and Krista. Danny was great on the mic and Trevor was great for moral support too. Thanks for your help guys! We are so happy for them (J/K and that doesn't mean just kidding ;) and it was great to have all the family all together.

Too Cute!
Here is one and two of many reasons why I love my niece and nephew ginormously. Is that the right word? Well, it captures the level and size of my love for them. They are on the street of downtown Riverside near the Mission Inn and they are rippin it up. They have some wicked moves. Their rhythm is inspiring and I couldn't get enough that's for sure. The swings are authentic from Mexico and they loved them. They have such an imagination and I was just taking in the moment with them: Being in California with my family and making them laugh with the spinning and pushing. This is what lasts forever, fun with loved ones; Doug, Brie, Kayla, Wes, and Nick who was on the phone the majority of the time. Oh, and I can't forget Iron Man right Nick and Kayla. hahahaha

We gots tricks
So here is our tricks. Nick is in the white jacket and I'm in the red pants. Not that you couldn't tell by the level of difficulty in the execution. haha! I'm workin on it. I usually just like to fly down the mountain and maybe a 180 here and there.
Valentine's Day 2010
So for Valentine's Day we went to Sandy, UT. We got the invite from Doug and Marla who were planning a snowboarding trip to Brighton and the Canyons. We have been extremely disappointed with the Idaho snow so we packed up and met them down there. We stayed with my Mom in Sandy and met them up there Friday morning right when Brighton opened. It wasn't a bad drive at all and we stayed the whole day 9-4. It was the most perfect day ever and a great start to our Valentine's weekend. It started with it snowing for fresh snow and continued with the perfect parking spot right in front of the lodge, met up with friends, and started off in the smoothest powder ever. It was the best because there were so many runs and plenty of trees to board through. It was amazing, especially, with just Nick and I and me trying to dig myself out of the powder spots where I lost speed. It was so hilarious. I hit a couple jumps and Nick was just tearing up the mountain. He is already better then me in the 6 times he's gone vs. the 20 times I've gone and taking a class for a semester. Anyway, we hit up the freestyle parts with boxes and walls and stuff. It was more, so I could tape Nick cuz I'm not the trickster quite yet. He made it look so easy, so next time we go, I'll try a lot more. It was just so perfect ending it with the perfect meal at Taco Bell (my favorite). We hung out with my Mom and Tasha the next day until we met up with Josh and Krista that night for a most awkward experience at Olive Garden and a cozy movie in Josh's apartment. It was a lot of fun, mainly seeing how they are so alike. They were bumpin Miley Cyrus in the Accord and singing it outloud with the windows down. They are so meant for each other. We left on Sunday for home making a detour by way of Doug and Brie's house. We had an awesome dinner of steak and crab legs (no crab for us) which we each tried a smidgen. Played some wii then had 'better than sex cake' to top it off. Made it home about 9 then straight to bed thankful for the best Valentine's day we have ever had. Totally worth the 600 miles and wiplash I got. I heart you Nick!~

Rainbow Brite
So I posted a few Christmas photos in a slide show on the left, as you can see. It was a great Christmas and I know I am way late on posting about it, but I been busy subbing it up and not making time for the blog. Sorry I'm slacking... So, I got everything I wanted and want to give a huge shout out to Craig and Lissa for their selections. Very thankful you are so cool and I think my face says it all in the Taboo opening one. Nick really captured my excitement. Thanks and love you 2 so much. Nick knows me so well and hooked it up as usual. I got some new snowboarding pants, itunes, movies, and amazing shirts. For him, I tried to be creative by making a book of all his song lyrics so they would be organized instead of spread out all over the house and in pockets in the music room. He loved it and hopefully it will be a big seller some day. The originals are big money right? He also got clothes, beanies from C&L, Modern Warfare 2, and socks.
We were very low key just chillin just us 2. New Years consisted of just drinking Martinelli's out of root beer mugs with a momentous clink of the glasses... Classic! January was uneventful except for the rain all the time. I went to look out the front door one day and this rainbow is what I saw. As bright as day, it was a welcoming sight. I grabbed the camera and started shooting. If you look closely, there is a second one next to the brighter one. I could see the whole thing just didn't have a big enough lens to get it in one shot so I hope my pictures do it justice. I love nature so much, so if this is boring to you, sorry but this gift of beauty must be captured and shared. So pretty, just like this random, handsome picture of Nick. I get a gift everyday knowing he's in my life and that I am so lucky. Like the rainbow, he is very colorful, just not as gay. Thank you Heavenly Father!
